HARRY POTTER 7


And it's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

My first reaction was a mix of 'oh' and 'eurgh' and now I've reached a happy medium. Deathly Hallows... me likey vewy much. Sounds macabre - which, hey, you know I love that - also connotates to Death Eaters and creepy new places for ickle Harry to crap his pants exploring. Also indicating lots of death, but the title does not pertain to any of my favourite characters, nor will it have the Dumbledore-Resurrectors flaming all over the place.

Discussion welcome. :)

Oooh! Sounds good. *sigh* If only it was the whole book that was being released instead of just the title, I'd be one happy little camper. I hate waiting!

I'm in two minds about the waiting myself - on the one hand I want to read it but this is gonna be the END. Not sure I'm ready to lose the canon Potterverse yet...

On the plus side the book should be released this year according to publisher estimations :)

I just heard it too! I don't like the title much, though I can't explain why. But look at this: PS, CoS, PoA, Gof, OotP, HBP and...DH? Sounds pretty lame to me, but that may be because I pronounce it as if it was norwegian? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the book. Horucrux hunting, RL/NT, Godric's Hollow....can't wait:)

And sorry, I haven't really found any photos yet, but I'm looking! Busy two last weeks:)

No problemo - just drop me a line whenever you're ready :)

I think I like the abbreviations since DH is only two letters like the very first one was, but it's not as good a title as PoA or OotP. I'm hoping the storyline will compensate like it did with HBP though :)

Deathly Hallows. *repeats a couple times*
At first, I thought it sounded weird. I didn't think that it was official just another rumor, but alas, no. the more I think about though, it sounds pretty cool. Death, of course that should be a pretty good sign to all Death Eaters. We already got rid of Dumbledork. *laughs like the mad woman I am* Hallows. Not quite sure what that is about. *shrug*

I'm so glad Jk made that statement that he's definitely 100% dead, because it would suck to have him pop up at the very end and save the day.

As for Hallows it's usually a term used for nooks and crannies, corridors and other generally spooky, pokey little places. I think the hallows will refer to Hogwarts as the castle's such a labyrinth of hallways and secret passages. Either way there's death in the title, so yay!
