First of all I just noticed it's monkeyscorpion's birthday, so have a good one hun :)

And to those whose special days I've missed due to that thing called 'Real Life' my most profound apologies.

As for what went on in the last 4(ish) weeks, I'm just gonna put it down to Stress Overload and consequent meltdown. By the time I got the comp working again and repaired the files the worm virus ate a lot of other life things were falling apart, including (quite literally) bits of the house around me.

Anyroad, here I am, and as of tonight I'm back with a vengeance.

So I had a wormhole virus, which has left big frickin holes in my computer that cause it to restart at random. But I am online again, so yay! I have some icons to post shortly and possibly some fic, so watch le space!

The man himself will be at a convention in Blackpool this January :D

Since my life has been of the bad lately, especially with meds still not working and having gastric for three days (and consequently not eating for those days) I am now going to post the good things going on, and make you all a wee bit jealous too :D

1. I am moving house in less than a month, which means:
* dropping out of making-me-ill school to restart when better
* not having to worry financially 'cause we'll be around family
* a fresh start
2. I am visiting family in New Zealand starting from the middle of May, via Los Angeles on the way (Disneyland, here I come!) and Hong Kong on the way back! Also we're staying with my auntie in NZ so I HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS! :D
3. The new series of Doctor Who starts TONIGHT! *squeeeeeeeee*

4. (And this is the one where you're gonna get antsy, flist)
Yesterday and today I have written all ficathon assignments for the next three months. Apocalyptothon, Death-By, the Giles H/C Ficathon and all my Summer Of Giles stuff. DONE.


So, for a change, things are looking up!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - British actor Anthony Stewart Head, formerly of WB series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," has landed the lead in "Him & Us," ABC's comedy pilot inspired by the life of Elton John.

The project revolves around an over-the-hill gay rock star and his relationship with his long-time manager and the rest of his colorful entourage.

Head, who played Rupert Giles on "Buffy," also co-starred in the HBO film "And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself."


Does anybody have any more info on this, and can anyone in the US tell me about how long it'll be before we know if the show is picked up or not. Because I HAVE to see Tony as a gay rock star. I HAVE to.

I'm back from Disneyland Paris, and it was fuuuuuuuuuuun!
Took pics and videos and Jeremy Irons narrates the Studio Tram Tour ride. Jeremy. On Screen. For the whole ride. *g* And Eric Idle is in Honey I Shrunk The Audience. Hee hee! Also I put my hands on Harrison Ford and Jeremy Irons's handprints outside Planet Hollywood. Woo! ;D


Anyway, the real reason for this random post is I've been flicking through some transcripts out of sheer boredom and I noticed this scene from I Was Made To Love You that I'd totally forgotten:

XANDER: She's a sexbot. (to Giles) I mean, what guy doesn't dream about that?

Giles walks off to help the customer.

Oh dear. Has Xander put Giles in a bad mental situation there, particularly after the previous 'charming and funny' comment?
Poor Giles, he must be so flummoxed by Xander engaging him in a talk about sexbots. ;P

Now that I'm properly back online, I'm setting the following deadlines for myself to get my arse into gear.

Part 6 of Worst Case Scenario will be up before I go to France on the 19th, followed by the final (yes, final) part at the end of February.
My Giles/Ethan Ultimate Reader's Choice fic needs to be revised and sent to beta-mine, so that'll be up at the start of March.
Along with that will be several thousand fics that have been hanging around my hard-drive shouting 'Post me! Post me!' for the last three months.
Oh, and there's a little entry for phendog's Happy Birthday ASH ficathon, which will be up on the 18th of Feb.
Plus those two other ficathons I've got to do.

*big sigh*

My computer has died. May it rest in pieces, the pile of crap. So I've been offline for about a fortnight whilst I tried some fruitless repairs. Needless to say I'm on a borrowed computer yet again. I was watching Richard & Judy yesterday and they had Andrew Lloyd Webber on to blather about Phantom Of The Opera, which was great. I have two questions:

1) Does anyone else find Richard Madely attractive? 'Cause I do and it's worrying me o.0

2) They mentioned the possibility of a Little Britain Musical, which Andrew Lloyd Webber wants to write the score for. Can you imagine Tony on stage, singing as the PM??? ^_^
